# Introduction to Staff

If you are reading this you are either looking to become a member of staff for VexalMC or you have just been accepted.

Once you become a member of staff you have a responsibility and this is not just punishments, commands and finding hackers/exploiters. It's also the responsibility to be approachable and to be there when needed whether it be to help the server grow by giving your ideas, opinions and thoughts and reinforcing rules or it could be also being someone who is there to keep people positive emotionally.

You will experience many things from hacking to bullying, it's your responsibility as a staff member to have the best relationship with players so they trust you enough to let you know these things and allow you to help them.

You may normally be an extremely loud and confident person who likes to stand out or you may be a quiet and shy person who prefers to just sit and build. No matter how you are normally, you need to be approachable for everyone and not just your friends so think of how you can be approachable and a good form of support for players in general.

Everyone has a different personality, some people may find louder and more social people intimidating whereas some find quiet and laid back people intimidating. As a staff member, it is your job to find an in between where you are able to socialize with everyone comfortably without being overly close to specific people. (Favoritism between staff and a player can put you in a sticky situation).
