Basic Expectations

Expectations while staff

  • Treat everyone with respect, as you are representing the server

  • While sending messages try to use proper capitalization and punctuation

  • While staff may be promoted over time for their good work efforts, please do not expect to be able to get to Admin or higher

  • Most staff, even if they are doing an excellent job as staff, may just stay at Senior Moderator

  • As you are promoted to the next rank in the staff ranking system, you are still responsible for all the duties of your past staff ranks. Once Vexal gets bigger and has a larger staff team, then that's when each role will only be responsible for set list of things

  • All commands that you gain access to while staff can only be used for fulfilling staff duties, anyone using staff only commands for personal gain, will receive a demotion due to staff abusing

  • You are more than welcome to have your own friends on the server, but you NEED to try to keep an unbiased opinion to any situation even if they are your friend or not. Favoritism is a no go on here. If there seems to be any favoritism occurring while you are staff, an Admin+ will talk to you about it

Basics for dealing with hackers

  • When trying to catch a hacker or a cheater, you will need to record a small clip/video that serves as sufficient proof for a ban

    • If you do not have a recording software, we recommend the recording software, Bandicam, for it's easy to use functionality. https://www.bandicam.com/

    • When banning a player, please follow the format below (The proof is the link to the video on YouTube of them hacking/cheating that you recorded)

      • Tempbans: /tempban {name} {time} {reason} {proof}

      • Perm bans: /ban {name} {reason} {proof}

    • Make sure you check the player's history before issuing a punishment

      • /history {name}

  • ALL RECORDS OF PUNISHMENTS MUST BE RECORDED IN #PUNISHMENTS ON DISCORD
